Pohe Island bike park

Cyclists and skaters on Pump Track at Bike Park on Pohe Island.

The Pohe Island Bike Park is a free community facility with an 800m circuit track, a pump track and a beginners’ bike skills area. 

The bike park also has a large all-weather building with a smooth asphalt surface perfect for teaching little ones to ride.

This building can be booked for events through the Bike Northland website. You can also find out about upcoming events at the bike park on their website.

Pohe Island Bike Park (bikenorthland.co.nz) 

The Whangārei BMX Club track next to the bike park is not open to the general public.

A free BMX track is located next to the Pohe Island playground and skate park.
