Due dates for land rates

There are four rates payment instalments each year, running from July to June, which are invoiced separately.

Your land rates notice arrives about one month before the due date.

You must pay each instalment by the due date:

Instalment Payment due date
1st 20 August
2nd 20 November
3rd 20 February
4th 20 May

If the 20th falls on a weekend, make sure that you pay by the next working day.

What happens if I don't pay on time?

  • A 10% penalty will be added to any amount of the current instalment remaining unpaid after the due date.
  • A 10% penalty will be added in September, on prior year's arrears.
  • If direct debit payments are current, no penalties will be incurred.
