Over the two weeks leading up to the road closure, there will be general maintenance carried out on Te Matau a Pohe, however the bridge and Dave Culham Drive will remain open to pedestrians and traffic. Pedestrians will need to follow the pedestrian detour signs, as only one side of the bridge will be open for their use.

From Tuesday 22 until Friday 25 October, there will be general maintenance on one side of the bridge and pedestrian detour signs will be posted.

From Tuesday 29 October to Friday 1 November, again there will be general maintenance on the opposite side of the bridge and pedestrian detour signs will be posted.
