Okara Drive proposed road closure

Event date: Saturday, 25 January 2025 | 01:00 PM to 10:30 PM

Pursuant to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is given that the Whangarei District Council, for the purpose of the L.A.B concert, organised by the Northland Events Centre (2021) Trust, proposes to close the following roads to ordinary vehicular traffic:

• Okara Drive, from the roundabout at Okara Drive and Porowini Avenue to the roundabout at Okara Drive and Port Road.

Period of Closure: 1:00pm-10:30pm, Saturday 25 January 2025.

During the proposed period of closure, the following provision will be made for ordinary vehicular traffic which would otherwise use the roads: Emergency services may use the closed roads, and residents may use the closed roads by arrangement with the organiser – Northland Events Centre (2021) Trust:
