Apply for a Street Appeal permit

You  must apply to hold a street appeal within the Whangārei District.

Street appeals are an important fundraising tool for a large number of community organisations.   

They provide an opportunity for the community to provide direct support to worthy charitable causes.

Step 1.Complete the form

Download and complete the Street Appeals application form.

Step 2.Email to us

Email your completed form to:

Step 3.Review application

We will review your application and will check to see if it aligns with the National Appeal Week calendar, as publicised by the Fundraising Institute of New Zealand (FINZ).

In the event that two street appeals are requested for the same week, precedence will be given the one that coincides with a National Appeal Week.

After considering all available information, we will make a decision to either approve or reject the application.

A response letter or email will be sent to you.
