We want your help to create a vision for Raumanga and Otaika.

The plan that we develop together, the Raumanga and Otaika Placemaking Plan – Te Whakakaupapa Whaitua mō Raumanga me Otaika, will become a roadmap for change and development in the area over the next 30 years.

The plan will consider the community’s hopes and needs for Raumanga and Otaika, both now and in the future.

There are three main steps to develop this plan:

  1. Setting goals – what does the community want for Raumanga and Otaika? That's what this survey was about (survey closed at 5:00pm on Monday 20 January 2025).
  2. Focus areas and objectives – once we know our goals, we will talk with you again about how to achieve them. This will be around March 2025.
  3. Feedback on the draft plan – when it's nearly ready, we'll get your input one last time. This will be around mid-2025.

Have your say
