Our laboratory offers water testing services to the public.

Our laboratory is accredited with International Accreditation New Zealand (IANZ) for a range of chemical and microbiological tests.

We also:

test Whangārei's public drinking water supply to make sure it meets the standards set by New Zealand's water services regulator Taumata Arowai
monitor the District's sewage discharges to ensure consent requirements are met.
