Northland Car Club proposed road closures

Pursuant to Schedule 10, clause 11(d) of the Local Government Act 1974, notice is given that for the purpose of the Northland Car Club Motorsport Event Series, organised by Northland Car Club Inc, Whangarei District Council will, at its meeting on 27 February 2025, consider the proposal to close the following roads to ordinary vehicular traffic:

Where: Paiawa Road – from Mititai Road to the end of Paiawa Road

• Sunday 6 April 2025
• Period of closure: 8:00am to 5:30pm

Where: Ruarangi Road – from 200m from the intersection of Ruarangi Road and Paparoa Road to 200m from the intersection of Ruarangi Road and Mangapai Road

• Sunday 18 May 2025
• Period of closure: 8:00am to 5:30pm

During the proposed periods of closure the following provision will be made for ordinary vehicular traffic which would otherwise use the roads: Emergency services may use the closed road, and residents may use the closed road by arrangement with the organiser:
