McLean Road temporary road closure

A section of McLean Road between Ginty Way and South Road will be closed during the day from Monday 3 March until early May 2025.

The road will be closed at 7:30am each weekday and reopen between 5:00pm and 8:00pm (the exact time is dependent on activities). Work may also be done on some Saturdays if required. There are no night works planned.

Our contractor Fulton Hogan is delivering the Mclean Road seal extension project, which includes improving drainage, removing vegetation and building a new sealed pavement.

Due to the narrow width of the road, they are not able to keep this section open during construction as there is not enough room to safely run one lane of vehicles while also accommodating large machinery.

Residents will have access at all times, with minor delays as machinery may need to be moved to allow you through the work area. Please wait at the closure point to be safely escorted through.

If you have regular visitors or tradespeople who need to access your property, please contact Fulton Hogan so they can accommodate them.

Emergency services will have access at all times.
