James and Cameron streets temporary road closure

A section of James Street and a section of Cameron Street will be closed on Sunday 23 February 2025 for a crane to lift material onto a rooftop.

Where: James Street – between Robert and Cameron streets

• Sunday 23 February 2025
• Period of closure: 11:45am to 5:00pm (or earlier if work is completed prior)

Where: Cameron Street – between James and John streets

• Sunday 23 February 2025
• Period of closure: 11:45am to 5:00pm (or earlier if work is completed prior)

While pedestrian access will be maintained, there will be a detour for vehicles via John Street.

Some parking will be temporarily removed for the crane to operate from, and there is provision for deliveries and mobility parking on John Street or in the John Street covered carpark. 

Affected businesses have been advised. 

All works are weather dependent.
