Maunga Mayhem

Maunga Mayhem is a unique obstacle adventure race hosted by Maungatapere School where participants of all ages will be challenged to overcome a range of action-packed adventure obstacles.

This year’s event will take place in the sub-tropical paradise Land of the Lotus on Mangakahia Road in Maungatapere. Parking will be via Mannington Road with a 15-minute scenic stroll to the race centre.

Participants will race their way through stunning water gardens and banana plantations. They will stomp through the muddy swamp and marshland, and tackle a range of obstacles along the way.

Navigate local bush and rolling hills, and crawl, climb, scramble, balance, jump, splash and navigate to the finish line! 

Food will be available to purchase via cash only.
