Our esteemed judges had the exciting role of selecting the inaugural winner of this year's competition.

The winner of the Judges award receive the ultimate bragging rights as well as a certificate to display so all those in the land know who has the top burger in town.

And the winner of the Hot Grill Summer, Whangārei's best burger is…. The Butter Factory!

Judges Luke Bird and Marcia Hopa commented  “We loved the creative sweet savoury vibe. Bringing a bit of theatre to the meal and pushing the status quo of what a burger could be but still maintaining the essence of their establishment. Definitely worth every mouthful, sharp, sweet, savoury and more some…what more do you want.”
