Festival Indonesia
The first Festival Indonesia in Whangārei!
Most people think of Indonesia as Bali, however Indonesia consists of many islands, large and small, with many different cultures.
This festival will introduce you to Indonesian culture and diversity. We will have a demonstration of one of Indonesia's unique musical instruments made from bamboo (angklung).
There will also be Indonesian dances, food, music, a costume show and a batik-making workshop.
