Tamaterau Coastal walkway

Signage for Devonshire Park at the start of the Tamaterau walkway.

This short coastal walk follows a trail of mature pōhutukawa trees as it hugs the rocky harbour coastline, with views toward the upper harbour.

It has some surfaced and some mown grass parts and is easily accessible under most weather conditions.

Parking

There is a public car park at the far end of the beach, that gives access to the Devonshire Reserve and the start of the track.
