Whangarei District Libraries opening hours over the festive season from 16 December 2024 to 5 January 2025.
Whangārei Central Library
The library is open weekdays and weekends except for the public holidays as detailed below. Please note the earlier closing times on weekdays.
Early closing
The library will close at:
- Monday 16 December to Friday 20 December 2024
- Monday 23 December and Friday 27 December 2024
- Monday 30 December, Tuesday 31 December 2024 and Friday 3 January 2025.
- 4.00pm on Tuesday 24 December 2024.
Closed
- Christmas Day, Wednesday 25 December 2024
- Boxing Day, Thursday 26 December.
- New Year's Day, Wednesday 1 January 2025
- New Year's holiday, Thursday 2 January.
Normal opening hours resume Monday 6 January 2025.
No.7 Espresso Café
The café will be closed Tuesdays 24 December and 31 December 2024.
JP services
A JP will not be at the library on Saturdays 28 December 2024 and 4 January 2025.
