The Ngaio Marsh Awards, in association with Whangarei District Libraries, invites book lovers to a thrilling evening of criminally good conversation featuring five talented Northland storytellers.

  • Tracie Lark

Are joined by:

  • Sherryl Clark - prolific young adults author turned adult crime novelist and past Ngaios longlistee
  • Coo Harkens - historical mystery writer
  • Tannis Laidlaw - psychologist turned author.

The Ngaio Marsh Awards were established in 2010 to promote and celebrate excellence in Kiwi crime, mystery and thriller fiction writing.

The 'Ngaios' are presented annually at the WORD Christchurch Writers and Readers Festival in Christchurch, the hometown of Dame Ngaio Marsh.
