May Bain Room

The May Bain Room is situated on the first floor of the library. The room is adjacent to a lift.

Facilities

The room can seat up to a maximum of 40 people.

• audiovisual system - CommBox interactive touch screen, camera and speakers. Includes Zoom Room connectivity for online meetings with Zoom, MSTeams, Google Meet and Webex.

Wi-Fi

A free service is available through Library Wi-Fi.

Please note:
The Library Wi-Fi is a public service so we cannot guarantee a good uninterrupted connection, especially for streaming connections. We advise you bring a backup such as a broadband dongle or use a Wi-Fi hot spot service from a smartphone.

Room hire fees

All fees are GST inclusive.

Standard fees for businesses

• Booking fee per day: $25.00
• Plus room hire - per hour or part thereof: $25.00.

Not-for-profit organisations

• Booking fee per day: $12.50
• Plus room hire - per hour or part thereof: $12.50.

Supply refreshments

Tea, coffee, sugar, milk, hot and cold water, paper cups: $12.00.

Audiovisual system hire

CommBox, camera and sound system - per booking period: $30.00.

Payment

Room hire fees are payable on the day of the hire before the room is accessed.

Please pay by eftpos or credit card at the Information desk on the ground floor of the library.
Invoice services are not provided.
