How to log in to PressReader

It is easy to log in to the PressReader app with your library card.

Log-in is not continuous - each log-in lasts for 1 day and 23 hours. 

  • Download and launch the PressReader app or go to its website using a browser on a mobile device.
  • In the PressReader app: Tap the Sign in link or the Sign in button at the bottom left side of the page.

  • On the PressReader website: Tap the Sign in button on the right side of the top banner.

  • On the Sign in options panel, select Libraries and Group option at the bottom right side.

  • Tap Select Library or Group button.

  • On the current location window, select either Don’t Allow or Allow.
    You can access PressReader while you are away from Whangārei if you select Don't Allow.

  • In the Search field type Whangarei - Whangarei District Council Library will appear. Tap this line.

  • On Library or Group Sign in tap the green Sign in button.

  • Enter your library card number and PIN and tap the blue Login button.
