On a computer or laptop, go to the PressReader website for library members and sign in with your library card number and PIN.

What's needed

  • Membership of Whangarei District Libraries with a valid library card number and PIN.

Set up the PressReader app

  • Go to the PressReader website and create a free account.
    You will need to enter an email address, password, your first name and last name.

  • On the PressReader website go to Exiting User? Please sign in - it’s at the bottom of the screen.
  • Sign in with your email and PressReader password. Keep the browser open.
  • Open the PressReader app and click Sign on - on the menu bar at the bottom of the screen.
  • A window opens with 2 buttons: Library & Groups and Email - select Email.
  • Sign in with your email and PressReader password.
  • Browse newspapers and magazines.
    Tap the Read button to read now or the Download button to read offline.
