Jigsaw puzzles

Doing jigsaw puzzles is good for your brain. They are mentally stimulating and calming.

We have a wide selection of jigsaw puzzles to borrow for children and adults.

We also have a selection of extra-large piece puzzles for senior adults. These are ideal for people with dexterity difficulties. They are particularly therapeutic for people suffering from Dementia and Alzheimer's, provoking memories, improve brain functions, especially short-term memory and encourage conversations.

Jigsaw puzzles are free to borrow for 4 weeks.

Please don’t return jigsaw puzzles in the book slots at Whangārei Central Library. Take them to the Information desk.
