Potter Park

Photo of children playing on the playground at Potter Park.

Potter Park is on the corner of Vinegar Hill Road and Corks Road in Tikipunga and includes play areas for children aged 2-12.

Local school children got to have their say in the design of the children’s playground area which also includes a small toddler bike track providing a safe space for little people to learn to ride on.

The park has plenty of shade for summer with a shade sail and trees, there is seating and tables for picnics, a drinking fountain and public toilets.

The play equipment includes swings, slides, climbing equipment and a small toddler bike track.

There are pedestrian refuge islands on both Corks Road and Vinegar Hill Road for the safety of park users.

The new park was made possible thanks to a generous donation of land and $130,000 towards the cost of the playground, by the Tikipunga Protestant Children’s Home Trust.  We added a further $130,000 of funding.
